Loot for the Great Old Ones in upcoming arcade co-op CTHULOOT

May 15, 2024 by Andrew Newton

After a little hiatus, Pixelnest Studio (the developer behind Steredenn, Steredenn: Binary Stars and Flipon) has announced a new arcade co-op CTHULOOT coming to PC and consoles. Working alongside the Headbang Club, CTHULOOT will have up to four players seeking out relics from the Great Old Ones.

In CTHULOOT, up to four players will form a gang of looters who will need to seek out mythical relics lost by the Great Old Ones in order to help Lord Morgaz’han regain his rightful place among the Great Old Ones.  The more relics that players find, the more they can draw on the powers of Lord Morgaz’han’s collection of supernatural watches to gain new skills.

Mythical relics can be found all around the world but gaining them won’t be easy due to the variety of hidden traps and the various dangers that lay in wait in the shadows, and in other dimensions.

CTHULOOT features:

  • Online or local four player enjoyment for friends and family.
  • More than 75 levels filled with surprises spread over 4 chapters.
  • Family friendly, no gore, just light horror.
  • A fun take on Lovecraft’s lore.

Look out for CTHULOOT coming to consoles and PC in the near future.  Wishlist on Steam now.
