March 15, 2017 by Ricky Church

Jessica Pare, best known for her role as Megan Draper in the later seasons of Mad Men, has been cast as a series regular in an untitled drama pilot about the Navy SEALs for CBS according to Deadline.

The series also stars Person of Interest‘s Jim Caviezel and has been brought to the network by Justified executive producers Ben Cavell, Sarah Timberman and Carl Beverly as well as Shameless‘ executive producer Chris Chulak.

Pare will play Mandy, a CIA analyst described as “whip-smart” and “driven to rid the world of evil and get the bad guys”. The untitled drama will be about an elite group of Navy SEALS training for and completing the most dangerous and high-risk missions across the world.

Cavell will write the pilot while Chulak is set to direct. The series will also star Max Thieriot, Neil Brown Jr., A.J. Buckley, and Toni Trucks.
