January 1, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Marvel Studios’ 2020 slate just got a little bit bigger, as Disney has announced that the Elizabeth Olsen-headlined WandaVision series has been moved up from its original 2021 date and will now arrive on Disney+ at some point this year.

The news was revealed in a promo for the streaming service, which showcases upcoming content for the year including the likes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, The Mandalorian season 2, the Lizzie McGuire revival and more; check it out here…

As well as the feature films Black Widow and The Eternals, Marvel Studios is set to make its Disney+ debut this year with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and as revealed in the promo above, we can now also add WandaVision to this list. The series was originally set to premiere in the spring of 2021 ahead of the theatrical release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which is said to be linked to WandaVision and also has Elizabeth Olsen reprising her role as the Scarlet Witch.
