Maze Runner: The Death Cure pushed back a year as Fox reshuffles its slate

May 28, 2016 by Gary Collinson

This won’t come as much of a surprise given that production was shut down indefinitely last month following Dylan O’Brien’s on-set accident in March, but 20th Century Fox has announced that it has pushed back the release of The Maze Runner: The Death Cure from its original date of February 17th 2017 to January 12th, 2018. As yet, there’s no word as to when production will resume.

As well as pushing back the final chapter of The Maze Runner series, Fox has also dated several of its upcoming movies, as well as shuffling dates for several others, including its two recently announced mystery Marvel movies. Here’s the schedule, courtesy of Deadline:

Morgan, Directed by Luke Scott and starring Kate Mara: wide release September 2, 2016.

Keeping Up With The Joneses, Directed by Greg Mottola and starring Gal Gadot, Isla Fisher, Jon Hamm, Zach Galifianakis: wide release on October 21, 2016.

Rules Don’t Apply, written and Directed by Warren Beatty and starring Lily Collins, Alden Ehrenreich, Warren Beatty: wide release on November 11, 2016.

A Cure For Wellness: moves from March 24, 2017 to February 17, 2017.

Red Sparrow: wide release November 10, 2017.

Murder On The Orient Express: moves from November 10, 2017 to Wednesday, November 22, 2017.

Predator: moves from March 2, 2018 to February 9, 2018.

Untitled Fox/Marvel: moves from January 12, 2018 to March 2, 2018.

Untitled Fox/Marvel: moves from July 13, 2018 to June 29, 2018.
