More Time War-era Doctor Who adventures for Paul McGann’s Eighth Doctor coming in May

Big Finish has announced that more Time War-era adventures for the Eighth Doctor are coming to Big Finish this May with the brand-new Doctor Who – Time War Uncharted: Branches audio drama box set. These upcoming adventures will bring surprising encounters to the TARDIS crew as they explore a mysterious new universe.

Doctor Who – Time War Uncharted: Branches takes the Eighth Doctor to a strange new universe as he continues his travels with his great-grandson Alex. As they search for their lost friend Cass, the pair encounter a whole host of strange differences from their home universe, including Cassie, this new universe’s buccaneering version of Cass. They also come across the Daleks, but ones that suffered a very different fate than those the Doctor has previously met.

Finally, the TARDIS crew meet Susan, the Doctor’s granddaughter, and she has a message for her grandfather. This is not her universe, and this Alex isn’t hers, so this family get-together is going to be a very unusual reunion.

Paul McGann continues as the Eighth Doctor, with Carol Ann Ford reprising her role as the first of the Doctor’s companions, Susan. Joining them are Sonny McGann as Alex, Emma Campbell-Jones as their friend Cass, and Nicholas Briggs, who once again provides a voice for the Daleks. 

This new box set features the following four adventures: The Only Girl in the World by John Dorney, False Dawn by Alison Winter, Council of Susan by Patrick O’Connor, and All Over by Tim Foley.

Doctor Who – Time War Uncharted: Branches is available to pre-order now from Big Finish for £24.99 for the download, or £30.99 for a limited collector’s edition CD box set.
