Nate Corddry joins Hulu’s Locke & Key

September 13, 2017 by Gary Collinson

The cast of Hulu’s Locke & Key pilot continues to come together, with Deadline reporting that Nate Corddry (Mom) has become the latest addition to the adaptation of the comic book from Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.

Locke & Key revolves around three siblings who move with their mother to their ancestral home in Maine following the gruesome murder of their father, and soon discover that the house has magical keys that give them a vast array of powers and abilities. However, little do they know, a devious demon also wants the keys, and will stop at nothing to attain them.

Corddry is set to play the Locke children’s uncle Duncan Locke, “[who] does what he can to ease the family’s pain after his older brother’s murder, and he and his boyfriend, Brian Rogers, help Nina and the kids settle into the old family home. Duncan doesn’t seem to think that there’s anything wrong with the house, but he possesses a few critical secrets…”

Also featuring in the cast of Locke & Key are Frances O’Connor (The Conjuring 2) as mother Nina Locke and Jackson Robert Scott (It) and Megan Charpentier (The Shack) as two of the Locke children. Andy Muschietti (It) is attached to direct, while Joe Hill has penned the script and will produce with Carlton Cuse (Bates Motel).
