Necromunda: Hired Gun is out now

June 1, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Focus Home Interactive and developer Streum On Studio’s new FPS Necromunda: Hired Gun has released today on Xbox consoles, Playstation 4 & 5 and PC.  This fast-paced, action filled FPS takes players to the gritty, violent hive city of Necromunda where they will need to use all their skills to hunt down contracts as a rising bounty hunter.  A new launch trailer (see below) takes us to the violent underhive to meet some of its denizens.

Welcome to the Underhive of the massive Necromunda Hive city. Within the depths of this huge industrial city is a whole host of gangs, scum, heretics and worse waiting to be hunted down and killed, all it needs is the right bounty hunter.  Players will take the role of a bounty hunter seeking their fortune and will begin their journey at  Martyr’s End, the hub of all things bounty-hunting.  It is this location where players will take contracts, prepare their loadout and set out on the hunt with their cybermastiff companion.

Each contract brings a chance to explore the decaying Underhive, through rusted and forgotten corridors to ancient strongholds, industrious chemlabs and more.  Once the target has been located it is time to unleash destruction using a vast array of weaponry, including power knife, grenade launcher and graviton gun, as well as your canine best friend before returning to Marty’s End for celebratory drinks.  After each action packed hunt, take the time to exchange loot and rewards to specialise your character, grow in power and apply cyber-augmentation to yourself, your arsenal and your four-legged best friend.

This fast-paced FPS is now available digitally on Xbox and Playstation consoles and PC.
