Ahead of its VOD release this June, a trailer has arrived online for writer-director James Villeneuve’s Canadian indie horror-thriller Pins and Needles.
The film follows Max, a diabetic student who finds herself caught up in a deadly game of cat & mouse with her insulin supply rapidly dwindling when her car breaks down and she seeks help at a wellness retreat for the wealthy.
Featuring in the cast are Chelsea Clark, Kate Corbett, Ryan McDonald, Damian Romeo, and Daniel Gravelle. Check out the trailer below…
What should have been an uneventful ride back to campus unexpectedly becomes a nightmare as Max, a diabetic, biology grad student, is entrapped in a diabolical new-age wellness experiment. With her insulin supply dwindling, Max is forced into a deadly game of cat and mouse where she must escape at all costs or risk becoming the next test subject to extend the lives of the rich and privileged.
