New content arrives for Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game

October 30, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Illfonic has released new content for their asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game in the latest patch.  Included in this latest patch is a brand-new map that will take players to the Crescent Cove Mall, but not for a bit of shopping. Players will either be able to cocoon humans or fend off Killer Klowns in a perfectly 80’s retail setting.

There are already six wonderful maps to fight over (with four of them being locations straight from the film) and this new map will take players to the neon-soaked shopping mall.  The Killer Klowns have already been to this location and decorated it in their own style and have blocked access to the upper floors but with a little exploration humans could perhaps find a way around the blockages.  The Mall provides lots of little twists and turns that will add more excitement to hiding and the hunt.

As players run through the stores, corridors and back rooms they may find plenty of useful items that will aid them in their fight for survival and there are plenty of wall-mounted TVs and radios to keep the Klowns distracted, but watch out for the open areas as they will provide excellent sightlines for the Klowns.

Most crossing and boat escapes are along the coastline of the map and portal and bunker escapes can spawn in many different places. As for the Terenzi Brothers, they will crash their ice cream truck somewhere within the mall itself.

In addition to the new map, there are new Halloween themed costumes available to purchase in the in-game store.  It may not be the time for trick or treats what with the whole Killer Klown invasion, but players can still look the part in Halloween themed tops, bottoms and hats.  There’s no in-game advantage to these costumes but players can look good while they survive.

Jump in to Killer Klowns From Outer Space: The Game now and try out the new map for yourselves.
