New trailer for Sam Mendes’ Empire of Light starring Olivia Colman and Michael Ward

Ahead of its theatrical release this December, Searchlight Pictures has shared a new poster and trailer for the 80s-set romantic drama Empire of Light. 

Written and directed by Sam Mendes (Skyfall, 1917), the film features a cast that includes Olivia Colman, Micheal Ward, Tom Brooke, Tanya Moodie, Hannah Onslow, Crystal Clarke, Toby Jones, and Colin Firth.

Set in an English seaside town in the early 1980s, EMPIRE OF LIGHT is a powerful and poignant story about human connection and the magic of cinema, from Academy Award®-winning director Sam Mendes.
