Ahead of its digital release this August, a trailer has arrived online for Before Never, an indie thriller reimagining of J.M Barrie’s classic tale Peter Pan.
The film sees private investigators Smee and hypnotherapist James “Hook” Pierrepoint hired to retrieve information from the amnesiac Peter Pan, the only witness to the attempted abduction of Wendy Darling. But as they dig deeper, they uncover dark connections in a group known as “The Lost Boys” and a hidden place, “The Neverlands”.
Before Never is directed by Kipp Tribble and Derik Wingo, who also star in the cast alongside Kenny Yates, Joanne Wilson, and Elisa Nixon. Check out the trailer below…
When Wendy Darling escapes an attempted abduction, her family employs investigator Smee and James “Hook” Pierrepoint to identify the attacker with help from the only eyewitness: Peter Pan. But as they dig deeper into the mystery, the more they suspect Pan might also have a connection to a terrible event in James’ past and lead them into the darkness on the edge of town known as ‘The Neverlands.’
Before Never is set for release on August 4th.
