Project Hail Mary tease offers a glimpse at Sunday’s Super Bowl Spot

February 5, 2026 by Matt Rodgers

Ahead of this Sunday’s Super Bowl spot and the impending arrival of the final trailer, Amazon MGM Studios has dropped a stunning tease for Phil Lord & Christopher Miller’s Project Hail Mary.

Adapted from Andy Weir’s 2021 novel by The Cabin in Woods scribe Drew Goddard, Project Hail Mary stars Barbie Academy Award nominee Ryan Gosling as Ryland Grace, a 6th grade teacher who wakes up on a spaceship with no memory of who he is or how he got there. Soon his solo mission becomes clear: solve the riddle of the mysterious substance causing the sun to die out and save the world.

Also starring Sandra Hüller, Lionel Boyce, Ken Leung and Milana Vayntrub, you can check out the teaser video below…

“11.9 Light-years from home. 6th grade science teacher. 1 chance to save us all.”

Project Hail Mary is in theaters and IMAX from March 20th.
