Rachel Weisz’s twisted twins are up to no good in the trailer for Dead Ringers

March 30, 2023 by Matt Rodgers

Prime Video has released the official trailer for the small screen reimagining of David Cronenberg’s 1988 erotic-thriller Dead Ringers, which ramps ups the duplicity and playfulness of identical siblings Elliot and Beverly, both played by Rachel Weisz.

With episodes directed by Sean Durkin (Martha Marcy May Marlene), Karyn Kusama (Jennifer’s Body), Karena Evans (Snowfall), and Lauren Wolkstein (Y: The Last Man), the series also stars Britne Oldford (The Umbrella Academy), Poppy Liu (Better Call Saul), Michael Chernus (Severance), Jennifer Ehle (Saint Maud), and Emily Meade (The Leftovers), you can check out the official trailer below…

A modern take on David Cronenberg’s 1988 thriller starring Jeremy Irons, Dead Ringers stars Rachel Weisz playing the double-lead roles of Elliot and Beverly Mantle, twins who share everything: drugs, lovers, and an unapologetic desire to do whatever it takes—including pushing the boundaries of medical ethics—in an effort to challenge antiquated practices and bring women’s health care to the forefront.

Stream Dead Ringers on April 21st only on Prime Video.
