Rambo coming to Mortal Kombat 11 with Sylvester Stallone reprising role

Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios have announced a wealth of Mortal Kombat 11 news today that is sure to get fans super excited. First up is the announcement of the Kombat Pack 2 which will include new fighters Mileena, Rain and the legend that is John Rambo, with Sylvester Stallone returning to lend his voice to the latter.

Also announced today is the upcoming launch of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, an expanded version of the game featuring the Aftermath Expansion and Kombat packs which will release on 17th November.  See this vet’ in action in the new trailer below…

Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate will provide the definitive MK experience with not one, but two story campaigns that take players on an adventure through time, a full roster of fighters and all the expansions to date.  This Ultimate Mortal Kombat experience will feature:

  • The Aftermath Expansion with a new story and three new fighters – Fujin, Sheeva and RoboCop, plus 10 additional skins.
  • Kombat Pack 1 – The addition of six playable characters – Shang Tsung, Nightwolf, Sindel, The Joker, Terminator T-800 and Spawn, plus 25 character skins.
  • Kombat Pack 2 – Inclusion of hybrid Edenian, Mileena, Tarkatan clone of Kitana; Rain and Rambo, the Vietnam war vet’, featuring the voice and likeness of actor Sylvester Stallone.
  • Towers of Time, Tutorial, Krypt, Kombat League and the signature roster fighters, all equipped with unique Fatalities.
  • Xbox Series X|S Smart Delivery Enabled – Provides 4K dynamic resolution, enhanced visuals, improved loading times and cross-generation console compatibility for select modes. Those who purchase on Xbox One will get access to free updates on Xbox Series X|S.
  • PS5 Upgrade Available – Delivering 4K dynamic resolution, enhanced visuals, improved loading times and cross-generation console compatibility for select modes. Buyers on PS4 and PS4 Pro will gain access to free upgrade to the PS5 version of their game.
  • Krossplay support allowing players to fight each other regardless of the platform they play on.

The Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Edition is available to pre-order now and will release on the 17th November.  A Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, Kollector’s Edition is also available to pre-order.

Mortal Kombat 11 owners will also be able to pre-order the Kombat Pack 2 on 15th October.
