Runway returns in The Devil Wears Prada 2 trailer

February 2, 2026 by Ricky Church

Miranda Priestly and Andy Sachs reunite in the official trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2, giving us our first look at Emily Blunt’s return as well as Miranda’s former assistant now rival Emily Charlton.

The anticipated sequel comes 20 years after the first film’s release. The Devil Wears Prada saw Anne Hathaway as Andy, an intern working at the prestigious fashion magazine Runway owned by its cold and strictly business-minded boss Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Streep.

The sequel brings back Hathaway, Streep, Blunt and Stanley Tucci as the shifting world of fashion in the age of social and digital media puts Runway at risk, forcing Miranda to work with her two former assistants for a new stream of money Runway needs to survive. Watch the trailer below…

The Devil Wears Prada 2 will follow Streep as Runway magazine’s editor-in-chief, Miranda Priestly, dealing with the decline of print journalism and attempting to find her footing in a dying industry. Priestly finds herself facing off against Emily Charlton (Emily Blunt), her former assistant who is now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising money that Priestly desperately needs.

The Devil Wears Prada 2 arrives in cinemas on May 1st.
