Rupert Grint and Nikki Amuka-Bird join M. Night Shyamalan’s Knock at the Cabin alongside Dave Bautista

February 16, 2022 by Ricky Church

M. Night Shyamalan will reunite with two actors he’s previously worked with on his next feature as Deadline reports that Rupert Grint (Harry Potter) and Nikki Amuka-Bird (Avenue 5) are set to star alongside Dave Bautista in Knock at the Cabin.

Grint has starred in Shyamalan’s Servant for all three seasons of the Apple TV+ series which Shyamalan showruns. The series has been renewed for a fourth season which Grint is currently shooting. Amuka-Bird, meanwhile, is fresh off her role in Shyamalan’s most recent horror film Old.

As with most of Shyamalan’s projects, the plot and details on Bautista, Grint and Amuka-Bird’s characters are unknown, as the director loves to keep his films secret until release.

Shyamalan will write, direct and also produce Knock at the Cabin with Ashwin Rajan under the filmmaker’s Blinding Edge Pictures banner alongside Marc Bienstock and Steven Schneider. Universal has currently slated the film to debut in theatres on February 3rd, 2023.
