Universal Pictures has debuted the first trailer and poster for The Fall Guy, the upcoming action thriller inspired by the 1980s series of the same name from director David Leitch.
The film stars Ryan Gosling as Colt Seavers, a former stuntman who left the business a year previously to work on himself, until his ex-girlfriend, director Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt) calls on his services when the star of her mega-budget movie mysteriously goes missing and Colt finds himself ensnared in a sinister plot.
Joining Gosling and Blunt in the cast are Hannah Waddington, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Winston Duke, and Stephanie Hsu. Watch the trailer below…

While the film’s ruthless producer (Emmy winner Hannah Waddingham; Ted Lasso), maneuvers to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder (Golden Globe winner Aaron Taylor-Johnson; Bullet Train) a secret from the studio and the media, Colt performs the film’s most outrageous stunts while trying (with limited success) to charm his way back into Jody’s good graces. But as the mystery around the missing star deepens, Colt will find himself ensnared in a sinister, criminal plot that will push him to the edge of a fall more dangerous than any stunt.
The Fall Guy arrives in cinemas on March 1st.
