Saint Maud leads nominations for the 2020 British Independent Film Awards

The nominations for the 2020 British Independent Film Awards have been announced today, with director Rose Glass’ acclaimed psychological horror Saint Maud leading the pack with 17 nominations including Best British Independent Film, Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Screenplay as well as Breakthrough Producer, Debut Director and Debut Screenwriter.

Saint Maud will contest the top honour, Best British Independent Film, alongside Calm with Horses (10 total nominations), The Father (6 total nominations), His House (16 total nominations) and Rocks (15 total nominations).
