Sci-fi thriller The Artifice Girl gets a trailer, poster and images

April 6, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

With less than a month to go until its digital release, a trailer, poster and images have arrived online for writer-director Franklin Ritch’s sci-fi thriller The Artifice Girl.

The film centres on a team of special agents as they team up with a developer who has designed a programme to trap online predators, but they soon discover that the AI has rapidly developed beyond its intended purpose.

When an internet vigilante develops a revolutionary new computer programme to combat online predators, its rapid advancement leads to serious questions of autonomy, oppression, and what it really means to be human.

Featuring in the cast of The Artifice Girl are Tatum Matthews, David Girard, Sinda Nichols, Franklin Ritch, Lance Henriksen.

The Artifice Girl is set for release on April 27th in the US, and on May 1st in the UK.
