October 11, 2024 by Andrew Newton

Netmarble has released a brand-new update for Solo Leveling: ARISE, their hit game based on the hugely popular anime and webtoon series, Solo Leveling.  This latest update introduces a new dungeon for players to conquer, debuts a new hunter and brings multiple events with valuable rewards.  Watch the new trailer below to meet this new hunter…

With this latest update the new dungeon, Workshop of Brilliant Light: Demons’ Castle Upper Floors Baran Raid, is available for players to tackle at Easy and Normal difficulty levels.  Those brave hunters who clear the dungeon and defeat Baran of White Flames will be rewarded with a new growth system ‘Core’ and ‘Solidified Stones’, which can be used to power up the Core.  The new Core system is a growth element for hunters and allows players to equip a Mind Core, Body Core and Energy Core that will provide a special effect to Attack, Defence and Support.

Gina is a new SSR hunter and a fire-type mage who specialises in supporting her allies.  She is capable of using a variety of skills, such as ‘Liberation’ that allows her to use a mana-focusing orb that causes a massive blast of energy. She is also capable of using ‘Mana Circulation’, a buff that supports all team member by increasing their Attack and Fire damage.

Among the other additions with the update are Sung Jinwoo’s new SSR weapon ‘Demon King’s Daggers’ and new costume ‘Joyful Flow’, and players can obtain Burning Curse/Blessing/Greed Artifacts by playing Instance Dungeons and Encore Missions.

Until 31st October, players can take part in the Autumn Lucky Capsule Event and earn Event Tickets that give them the chance to gain Gina’s exclusive weapon ‘The Glamour of Self-worth’, Rate Up Draw Tickets and other rewards.  There’s the Rock, Paper, Scissors with Jian Event that offers rewards of Essence Stones and Heroic Skill Rune based on the number of wins, and also a Daily Mission Event giving the player chance to win Custom Draw Tickets.
