Solo Leveling Season 2 English dub arriving on Crunchyroll this Saturday

January 16, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Those of us who love our anime with subtitles and original Japanese audio have had the pleasure of Solo Leveling Season 2 – Arise from the Shadow for a couple of weeks now but subs aren’t for everyone and there’s been many people waiting for the English dub. Today, Crunchyroll has announced that Episode 1 of the English dub for Solo Leveling Season 2 – Arise from the Shadow will premiere on Saturday 18th January at 9pm GMT.

Solo Leveling Season 2 – Arise from the Shadow will see the return of actors from the first season, including Aleks Le as Sun Jinwoo, Rebecca Wang as Sung Jinah, Emi Lo as Han Song-Yi and Patrick Seitz as Kim Chul.

The full English dub cast includes Daman Mills as Barca, Trina Nishimura as Park Heejin, Geoff Bisente as Go Myunghwan, SungWon Cho as Woo Jinchul, Matthew David Rudd as Hwang Dongsoo, Ian Sinclair as Choi Jong-In, Kent Williams as Go Gunhee, Christopher R. Sabat as Baek Yoonho, Cory Yee as Ahn Sangmin and Anthony Bowling as Hyun Kichul.

Solo Leveling Season 2 – Arise from the Shadow sees a very different hunter from the weakest we saw at the start of Season 1. He has now become a confident and formidable necromancer with an army of loyal shadows at his command.  However, he needs to continue to be as discreet as possible if he is to save his mother.  Viewers of Season 2 can expect to see Jinwoo push his limits, both mentally and physically, as he faces some of humanity’s toughest foes.

Enjoy the new season’s trailer below and tune in to Crunchyroll at 9pm GMT on Saturday…
