Spider-Noir set photos reveal Nicolas Cage’s live-action Spider-Man Noir

October 28, 2024 by Gary Collinson

Having voiced the character in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Nicolas Cage is now bringing Marvel’s Spider-Man Noir into live-action courtesy of Sony’s Spider-Man Universe-set MGM+ series Spider-Noir.

The series, which has been developed by showrunners Oren Uziel (The Lost City) and Steve Lightfoot (The Punisher), is based upon Marvel’s alternate take on the web-slinger, with Cage playing “an aging and down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.”

Although filming kicked off back in August, we’re just now getting to see some set photos from the series, which give us a look at Cage’s (or his stunt-double’s) Spider-Man Noir in full crime-fighting mode…
