With Dwayne Johnson announcing this past week that filming is finally underway on Black Adam, Deadline brings word of a new addition to the cast of the New Line Cinema and DC Films blockbuster.
As revealed by the trade, stand-up comedian and actor Mo Amer (Ramy) has signed on to appear in the film, although details on his character and the size of the role remain under wraps.

Black Adam is being directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and stars Dwayne Johnson as Black Adam are Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone, Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Sarah Shahi as Adrianna Tomaz and Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui and Mo Amer in as-yet-unrevealed roles.
