Star Trek Online: Both Worlds available now

January 24, 2024 by Andrew Newton

The 31st season of Gearbox Publishing and Cryptic Studios’ free-to-play Star Trek MMORPG Star Trek Online: Both Worlds is now available on PC. This brand new season will continue the multiverse storyline with the encounter with the Borg.  The new season also celebrates the game’s 14th anniversary.  A new trailer can be seen below…

In this new season, players will need to sever the vortex within the Mirror Borg Unicomplex, a massive technological labyrinth guarded by the Borg and at its heart is the Borg King, the architect of the scheme to dominate the multiverse. Whether the Borg manage to change the multiverse is up to the players.

This new season pays tribute to various Star Trek series with players able to encounter some of familiar and fan-favourite characters, including Captain Ezri Dax (voiced by Nicole de Boer from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Captain Harry Kim (voiced by Garret Wang from Star Trek: Voyager) and Admiral Kuumaarke (voiced by Kipleigh Brown from Star Trek: Enterprise).

Star Trek Online: Both Worlds features:

  • Scorpions Abyss – A new episode that will take players deep into the Mirror Borg Complex.
  • New Task Force Operation – Relive the Battle of Wolf 359 in this new 5 player task force op’.
  • A Season 31 Event called King and Collective where players can play selected content to earn a new T6 ship.
  • Elite Random Task Force Operations Feature – A new QOL improvement that will provide players with the option to queue for Random Elite TFOs to score extra rewards.

Help determine the future of the multiverse in Star Trek Online: Both Worlds.
