Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown launch trailer arrives online

February 17, 2026 by Andrew Newton

Daedalic Entertainment has released the launch trailer for Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown. This brand-new trailer provides players a final look at the game’s survival strategy and crew-driven decisions as Voyager makes its journey back to the Alpha Quadrant. Watch the new trailer below….

Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown challenges players with getting U.S.S. Voyager and its crew back to the Alpha Quadrant as quickly and safely as possible. Players will be able to relive, and rewrite, the ship’s journey through uncharted space. If you think you can do a better job than Captain Janeway did, then this is the chance to make it so!

Players will have the opportunity to traverse 12 vast sectors of the Delta Quadrant, where they will make decisions on exploration, diplomacy and combat. As well as exploration, there is also ship and resource management to take care of, crew dynamics to look into, and difficult moral decisions to navigate.

Decisions made by the player shape not only the fate of the ship and crew, but also that of the other races that call the Delta Quadrant their home. Each  playthrough will see Voyager become a different one to that from the series based on the command decisions made. Fans of the series may see the return of familiar faces, but their fates may be completely different in each playthrough. For example, B’Elanna Torres doesn’t have to become chief engineer, and Seska may never reveal her Cardassian true colours.

There’s ample opportunity for players to complete the journey in ways different to the series, such as taking on research projects that the TV series missed, from tech that boosts the crew’s morale to more dangerous research, such as Borg systems.

Aspiring starship captains will get their chance to take command of the U.S.S. Voyager on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 on 18th February.
