Star Wars: The Last Jedi’s Domhnall Gleeson on General Hux’s rivalry with Kylo Ren

December 1, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Having released images of Andy Serkis’ Supreme Leader Snoke and Benicio Del Toro’s DJ over the past few days, Empire has now turned its attention to Domnhall Gleeson’s returning General Hux with its latest exclusive character image from this month’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Check it out here, along with comments from Gleeson on Hux’s rivalry with Adam Driver’s Kylo Ren…

“Because of what happened in the first film, he’s been pushed to a place where his position is in real jeopardy, and people make really bad decisions when they get desperate,” said Gleeson “Hux and Kylo Ren are vying for power and for Snoke’s attention. They’re both contenders for the throne and Hux is hoping Ren explodes, so that he can take up the mantle. He knows it will be a battle otherwise, one he may very well lose.”
