Stephen Graham joins Sony’s Venom 2

This Is England and The Irishman actor Stephen Graham has become the latest addition to the cast of Sony’s Marvel sequel Venom 2.

As per Deadline, details on Graham’s role are being kept under wraps for the time being, but he joins a cast that includes returning Venom stars Tom Hardy (Eddie Brock/Venom), Michelle Williams (Anne Weying) and Woody Harrelson (Cletus Kasady/Carnage) and Naomie Harris (No Time To Die), who is rumoured to be playing the villain Shriek.

Venom 2 is currently in production under director Andy Serkis (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle) from a script by Venom writer Kelly Marcel, and is scheduled for release on October 2nd 2020.
