Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez search for a killer in Only Murders in the Building trailer

Hulu has released the first trailer for its dark comedy series Only Murders in the Building starring Steve Martin (Father of the Bride), Martin Short (The Willoughbys) and Selena Gomez (Hotel Transylvania). Watch it below…

Co-created and written by Martin and John Hoffman based on an idea by Martin, Only Murders In The Building will follow “three strangers (Martin, Short and Gomez) who share an obsession with true crime and suddenly find themselves wrapped up in one.”

Also starring in the series is Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone), Aaron Dominguez (Shaft) with Nathan Lane (Penny Dreadful: City of Angels) in a recurring role. Ryan will play “a musician who resides in the building” while Dominguez is “the son of the building’s super who is returning to the swanky residence after years away.”

Martin and Hoffman will executive produce alongside Short, Gomez, Jamie Babbitt and This is Us creator Dan Fogelman and producer Jess Rosenthal.

Only Murders in the Building will premiere on August 31st.
