Strategy battler Mini Guns arrives on Steam Early Access

November 5, 2017 by Andrew Newton

Riposte Games & Co have announced that their multiplayer strategy game, Mini Guns, is now available for free on Steam Early Access.  After taking the mobile market by storm back in August when it was released on Google Play and the App Store PC gamers have anxiously been waiting for its release.  Prospective commanders can check out the cartoon-like soldiers in action in the trailer below…

Mini Guns is a tactical strategy game that takes the idea of toy soldiers in battle to a new level as players take their charming, yet plucky, cartoon troops into combat on a global scale across mobile devices, web and PC.

In Mini Guns players will have a choice from over a hundred miniature troops such as Rifleman and HA-42 Tank and all hundred can be collected and upgraded.  These troops are split into three categories: infantry, vehicles and air units with each having their own advantages and disadvantages.  Alliances can be created between friends to destroy enemy bases in co-op multiplayer battles and troops can be traded to create the ultimate fighting combination.  The more battles an Alliance wins the more ‘Honour’ can be earned to rise up the leaderboard.

Those players who like to go solo will also enjoy the single player campaign with challenging maps and innovative terrains.

“Given the success Mini Guns has had, we knew we had to bring it to PC. We’re in constant conversation with our community and they’ve been very vocal about that we get the PC version running as fast as possible. Mini Guns is an incredibly addictive and challenging game and our players really love playing it with the fidelity of a PC on a big screen” said Mathieu Rouleau, Chief Creative Officer at Riposte Games & Co.

Mini Guns is available on Steam Early Access now.
