Tears in Rain: Rutger Hauer’s Underrated Film Gems | Marvelous Videos

July 29, 2020 by Red Stewart

Marvelous Videos with a selection of cult classics from Rutger Hauer’s filmography…

The “Tears in Rain” monologue from Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner stands as one of the best speeches in film history. It perfectly captured questions of humanity, existentialism, and mortality that we all think about at some point or another.

And yet, it would not have been as memorable as it was were it not for Rutger Hauer’s performance as Roy Batty . The Dutch actor sadly passed away last year, however his contributions to movies will never be forgotten. He did so many pictures that some of these have gone on to become cult classics!

Courtesy of our friends at Marvelous Videos, here are eight of Hauer’s cult classics in Nighthawks, Flesh + Blood, Wanted: Dead or Alive, The Hitcher, Blind Fury, Salute of the Jugger, Split Second and Hobo with a Shotgun…
