Tetris Effect arrives on Playstation 4

November 9, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Enhance Inc. has announced the release of their highly anticipated puzzle game Tetris Effect on the Playstation 4.  Developed by Monstars Inc., Tetris Effect offers a main campaign and several effect modes to provide plenty of replay value.  The game’s new launch trailer can be seen below…

Tetris Effect’s main campaign is the Journey Mode which offers three levels of difficulty – beginner, normal and expert.  Each of the 30 plus stages of the campaign will have their own theme, graphics, music and sound effects which sync to the gameplay.

Effect Modes are all other game modes and are divided into four categories each of which are based loosely on what “effect” the player is meant to come away with, these include Relax, Focus, Adventurous and Classic.  Each mode will have varying setups and rules as well as skill levels.

Each and every weekend will give players the opportunity to enjoy the ‘Weekend Ritual’ community event.  The event will run for 24 hours and require players to play a specified Effect Mode category to earn points.  If the target points are reached then a special in-game avatar will unlock for all those who participated.

Tetris Effect is available to buy on the Playstation Store now.
