The Amazing Maurice posters offer first look at the animated Terry Pratchett adaptation

November 2, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Terry Pratchett’s The Amazing Maurice, Sky Cinema has released eight character posters from the upcoming animated adaptation of the Discworld novel which offer a first look at Maurice (Hugh Laurie), Sardines (Joe Sugg), Dangerous Beans (David Tennant), Nourishing (Julie Atherton) Peaches (Gemma Arterton), Darktan (Ariyon Bakare), Keith (Himesh Patel) and Malicia (Emilia Clarke); check them out here…

In The Amazing Maurice, a Sky Original, Maurice is a streetwise ginger cat who comes up with a money-making scam by befriending a group of self-taught talking rats. When Maurice and the rodents reach the stricken town of Bad Blintz, they meet a bookworm called Malicia and their little con soon goes down the drain.

The Amazing Maurice features the voice talents of Hugh Laurie as Maurice, Emilia Clarke as Malicia, David Thewlis as Boss Man, Himesh Patel as Keith, Gemma Arterton as Peaches, Hugh Bonneville as The Mayor, David Tennant as Dangerous Beans, Ariyon Bakare as Darktan, Rob Brydon as The Pied Piper, Julie Atherton as Nourishing and Joe Sugg as Sardines.
