The Boys: Trigger Warning arrives on PVR2 with launch trailer

June 9, 2026 by Andrew Newton

ARVORE and Sony Pictures Entertainment have released The Boys: Trigger Warning on PlayStation VR2. Now, a whole new audience can enjoy the twisted humour, manic violence and special voice performances from members of the cast as they dive into a stealth action-adventure set in the world of corrupted superheroes. Watch the launch trailer below….

Developed alongside the creators of the TV show, The Boys: Trigger Warning takes players into the twisted world of The Boys, where they get up close and personal with all the intense violence, blood, gore, and strong language that fans will recognise.

This stealth action-adventure sees the life of Lucas Costa fall apart when his family outing to Voughtland ends in disaster thanks to the Armstrongs, a washed-up but still lethal family of Vought Superheroes. It’s not long before Butcher and Mother’s Milk lure Lucas into the fight against Vought and its Supes by giving him Compound V and guiding him as he gets revenge on those who destroyed his life.

The Boys: Trigger Warning features voice performances from fan-favourite characters, including Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett), P.J. Byrne (Adam Bourke), and Jensen Ackles (Soldier Boy).

Players on the PS VR2 can experience using their Laser Eyes Power with eye tracking support. As well as being an excellent means of gameplay input, this support also allows the optimisation of performance, rendering, and sharpening visual quality where players are looking. Players will also enjoy sharper visuals, improved environmental detail, dynamic shadows and more advanced lighting. Plus, those with a PS5 Pro can enjoy enhanced performance, smoother gameplay and refresh rates of 120Hz.

The Boys: Trigger Warning is available for PlayStation VR2 now.
