Netflix announced The Hunting Wives will soon be returning for its second season on November 26th and released a batch of first-look images of the upcoming season.
The Hunting Wives is led by Brittany Snow and Malin Åkerman. Snow’s Sophie and her family moves to a small town in East Texas where she becomes enamoured Åkerman’s Margot, a socialite and leader of a group known as the ‘Hunting Wives’. As Sophie begins a secret relationship with Margot, she gets drawn into the group’s secrets and a murder after a young teen is found dead at their spot.
The second season sees Sophie and Margo are on the outs. But soon enough, old secrets and new foes force them back together. As they play their dangerous games, the question arises. Are they the hunters or the hunted?
Alongside Snow and Åkerman, The Hunting Wives stars Dermot Mulroney, Jaime Ray Newman, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery and Chrissy Metz with Branton Box, Dale Dickey, Kim Matula, Cam Gigandet, Alex FitzAlan, John Stamos and Angel Reese joining season two.
The Hunting Wives is based on the book by Erwin Stoff and was created by Rebecca Cutter, who serves as showrunner, writer and executive producer.
The Hunting Wives season two will premiere November 26th.
