Sequelitis is a problem that a lot of films suffer from- the idea that you have to make each successive entry in a franchise bigger and brasher to compensate for the lack of originality they will inherently have. Yet, if there’s one franchise that actually benefits from this issue, it would be the Terminator films.

The titular killer androids inherently lend themselves to constant upgrades and readjustments, and in the movies we have seen each model take something from its predecessor whilst adding a new deadly weapon or weapons.
