The Sandman poster reveals Gwendoline Christie’s Lucifer

During yesterday’s DC FanDome panel, Netflix revealed a first look at Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer, the ruler of Hell, from the hotly-anticipated TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s critically acclaimed comic book series The Sandman; take a look here…

The Lord of Dreams has been summoned and captured by mortal men. Once free from his captivity, this eternal ruler of Dreams will realize that his troubles are only just beginning.

The Sandman is a Netflix series based on the groundbreaking comic book series created for DC by Neil Gaiman. The series is Executive Produced by Neil Gaiman, Allan Heinberg, & David S. Goyer.

Featuring in the cast of The Sandman are Tom Sturridge (Sweetbitter) as Dream, Gwendolyn Christie (Game of Thrones) as Lucifer, Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) as Roderick Burgess, Boyd Holbrook (Narcos) as The Corinthian, Patton Oswalt (Happy!) as the voice of Matthew the Raven, Kirby Howell-Baptiste (The Good Place) as Death, Jenna Coleman (Doctor Who) as Johanna Constantine, Joely Richardson (Nip/Tuck) as Ethel Cripps, Mason Alexander Park (Cowboy Bebop) as Desire and David Thewlis (the Harry Potter films) as John Dee.
