The Sea of Monsters is calling in Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 trailer

Announced today on the first day of the San Diego Comic-Con was a premiere date of December 10th for the second season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians in the first trailer alongside casting announcements for two major characters to be introduced in the third season. 

Joining the cast for season three, which will begin production soon, are Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie and Nico and Bianca di Angelo, two siblings who are hunted by demons for unknown reasons. The second season adapts The Sea of Monsters while the third adapts The Titan’s Curse. Check out the casting announcement and trailer below…

Percy Jackson returns to Camp Half-Blood one year later to find his world turned upside down. His friendship with Annabeth is changing, he learns he has a cyclops for a brother, Grover has gone missing, and camp is under siege from the forces of Kronos. Percy’s journey to set things right will take him off the map and into the deadly Sea of Monsters, where a secret fate awaits the son of Poseidon.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians stars Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue, Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, Virginia Kull as Sally Jackson, Glynn Turman as Chiron, and Toby Stephens as Poseidon. Season two will introduce Daniel Diemer, Timothy Simons, Tamara Smart, Sandra Bernhard, Kristen Schaal, Margaret Cho and Andra Day to the cast with Courtney B. Vance taking on the role of Zeus after Lance Reddick’s passing.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2 will premiere on December 10th.
