Variety is reporting that The Walking Dead star Lennie James is in talks with Alcon Entertainment to join the cast of the forthcoming Blade Runner sequel, which is being directed by Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners, Sicario).
James will join a cast that includes the returning Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard alongside new additions Ryan Gosling (The Nice Guys), Robin Wright (House of Cards), Carla Juri (Morris From America), Ana de Armas (Knock Knock), Dave Bautista (Spectre), Mackenzie Davis (The Martian), Barkhad Abdi (Captain Phillips), David Dastmalchian (Ant-Man), Hiam Abbass (Munich) and Sylvia Hoeks (Tirza).

The as-yet-untitled Blade Runner sequel is set for release on October 6th 2017.
