Timothée Chalamet thinks Robert Pattinson’s Batman will be “awesome” and “fresh”

October 3, 2019 by Liam Waddington

Timothée Chalamet has nothing but praise for his The King co-star Robert Pattinson on his casting as The Batman in the upcoming Matt Reeves-directed film.

In an interview with Variety at the premiere of The King, Chalamet noted that he believes Pattinson’s portrayal of the Caped Crusader will be “awesome” and “fresh”.

“I think it’s going to be awesome. I think it’s going to be awesome,” Chalamet said. “You know, I think it’s going to be great. Greg Fraser, an Australian DP, he did Dune, he’s shooting the new Batman so it’s going to be awesome. I just know it’s going to be fresh, I don’t know in what direction, but I think it’s going to be a great new thing.”

Chalamet is not the only actor to praise this casting with Batman alumni Christian Bale and Maggie Gyllenhaal believing Pattinson is a good choice to wear the cowl in the upcoming DC film.
