Trailer for folk horror The Morrigan starring Saffron Burrows, Toby Stephens and James Cosmo

Ahead of its digital release this February, a trailer has arrived online for writer-director Colum Eastwood’s folk horror The Morrigan.

The film centres on an archaeologist who specialises in Gaelic mythology as she travels with her teenage daughter to Ireland to uncover an long-dead tomb, inadvertently awakening a vengeful Pagan war goddess.

The cast includes Saffron Burrows, Toby Stephens, and James Cosmo. Watch the trailer below…

An archaeologist travels to Ireland to uncover a long-dead tomb. A threat is released and she will have to fight to keep her teenage daughter from falling under the control of The Morrigan, a vengeful Pagan War Goddess.

The Morrigan arrives on digital platforms on February 3rd.
