Roadside Attractions has debuted the first trailer for Kiss of the Spider Woman, the upcoming musical from director Bill Condon (Dreamgirls, Beauty and the Beast).
Based on Manuel Puig’s acclaimed 1976 novel and Terrence McNally’s Tony Award-winning Broadway adaption of the same name, the film stars Diego Luna, Tonatiuh and Jennifer Lopez.
Valentín (Diego Luna), a political prisoner, shares a cell with Molina (Tonatiuh), a window dresser convicted of public indecency. The two form an unlikely bond as Molina recounts the plot of a Hollywood musical starring his favorite silver screen diva, Ingrid Luna (Jennifer Lopez). Based on the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical hit.
Kiss of the Spider Woman arrives in cinemas on October 10th.
