Trailer for Phoenix Lights-inspired sci-fi thriller Star People

Ahead of its world premiere this Saturday at the Dances With Films Festival, a trailer has arrived online for writer-director Adam Finberg’s sci-fi thriller Star People.

Inspired by true events, the film follows UFO hunter and photographer Claire (Kat Cunning) as she heads out to explore The Phoenix Lights following a tip, hoping to shed some light on a childhood sighting.

The cast includes Kat Cunning, McCabe Slye, Eddie Martinez, Adriana Aluna Martinez and Connor Paolo.

Inspired by The Phoenix Lights, the largest mass UFO sighting in U.S. history, STAR PEOPLE is a sci-fi thriller that tells the story of a photographer (Kat Cunning) who receives a tip that could finally shed light on her childhood UFO sighting, but a deadly heatwave and unexpected guests threaten to derail her obsessive search for answers.

Star People is set for a VOD release on August 12th.
