Paramount Pictures has released the trailer for their chilling chimp horror Primate, which tells the story of a family’s beloved pet chimpanzee named Ben, who goes ape on a tropical island after contracting rabies.
Directed by Johannes Roberts (47 Meters Down, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City), the horror hopes to do for chimps what Jaws did for sharks when it opens early next year. Primate stars Johnny Sequoyah, Jessica Alexander, Troy Kotsur, Victoria Wyant, Gia Hunter, Benjamin Cheng, Charlie Mann, and Tienne Simon. Check out the poster and trailer below…
