According to The Wrap, The Vampire Diaries and The Originals star Claire Holt is among the actresses testing for the role of Kara Zor-El in CBS’ upcoming DC adaptation Supergirl.
Supergirl will follow Kara on Earth at age 24, as she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and become the hero she was always meant to be. The project being written and produced by Ali Adler (Chuck, No Ordinary Family) and Greg Berlanti (Arrow, The Flash) and has a series commitment from the network.
