Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War! sees the savage Arachnid menace launching an unprovoked and relentless attack on humanity. In response, the citizens of Earth sign up to serve and defeat the Bugs before they can get a foothold on Earth. As Major Samantha Dietz, players will charge through an exciting single-player campaign, fight over large battlefields and defeat the Arachnids using a deadly arsenal of weapons.
Players will have access to a huge range of weaponry that can stop the Bugs dead in their tracks. There’s incredible firepower available, and even pilotable mechanical bipeds. But all this firepower will be necessary to defeat the nightmarish new species that threaten humanity, including close-range, flying and tanklike Arachnids.
During the game, players will be treated to morale-boosting speeches from the legendary General Johnny Rico through high-quality FMV broadcasts that will leave you wanting to know more.
When out on patrol, keep your eyes peeled for enemies and other discoveries that are so secret that even the Federation doesn’t know about them.
Finally, there’s anti-bug combat training, where players can use state-of-the-art technology and fight simulations of battles within one of the Bug enemies, providing the ideal opportunity to perfect the skills necessary to eliminate the Arachnid threat.
