Watchmen teaser images feature masked police officers

November 20, 2018 by Gary Collinson

As we know, HBO and Damon Lindelof’s upcoming Watchmen series is set to present a brand new original tale set in the world of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ seminal superhero saga, rather than a straight up adaptation of the source material.

Given its present day setting, we’re not going to be seeing familiar faces such as Nite Owl, Rorschach, Silk Spectre and Ozymandias (at least, not as we saw them back in 1985); however it seems there’s still going to be plenty of masks on display – not least those worn the police department of Tulsa, Oklahoma, as revealed by the latest Instagram teases released today.
