Will & Grace revival extended to 12 episodes

April 6, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Earlier this year NBC announced that stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally and series creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan are to reunite for a 10-episode revival of the beloved sitcom Will & Grace.

Well, now we have some good news for fans, as Deadline is reporting that the network has extended the ninth season by a further two episodes, bringing the run to twelve in total.

Talk of a revival first emerged back in October of last year when the cast returned for a special U.S. presidential election mini-episode [watch it here]. The deals for the new season were closed in January. As yet, there’s no word on a premiere date, but the new season will debut on NBC later in the year.
