Zack Snyder’s son criticises Warner Bros. for “meddling” with Justice League

November 25, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Following the release of Justice League last weekend, there’s been growing calls for Warner Bros. to deliver an ‘Original Director’s Cut’ of the movie, giving us a look at Zack Snyder’s original vision for the DC blockbuster before Joss Whedon was brought on board to write and ultimately direct the reshoots.

As yet, we’ve heard nothing from Zack Snyder about his thoughts on the final film, but his son Jett has shared his own opinion of the movie on his Vero account (via CBM), during which he criticised the studio for “meddling” with the cut:

“I did enjoy the movie, although it is clearly not what it could have been due to the meddling of Warner Brothers and the forced comedy,” said Jett. “The run time was my biggest gripe with the movie, with events that should take a long time over in a flash; $ but still definitely a fun movie to watch, and would recommend it.”

What are your thoughts on Jett’s comments? Are his criticisms valid? And would you like to see Zack Snyder’s version of the film? Let us know in the comments below…

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League reunites Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and Robin Wright as General Antiope alongside J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) as Commissioner Gordon, Amber Heard (The Danish Girl) as Mera, Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man) as Vulko and Ciaran Hinds (Game of Thrones) as Steppenwolf.
