Kevin Feige confirms that Daredevil is back with Marvel Studios

April 23, 2013 by admin

Good news for Daredevil fans – the character is back in the hands of Marvel studios. At the press conference for Iron Man 3, Kevin Feige was asked if the rights had reverted from Fox back to Marvel, to which his reply was simply “yes”.

Nothing further was talked about, however Devin Farachi of BadAss Digest spoke to Feige yesterday, and at the moment the Marvel slate is full up until 2016. So right now whilst the good news is the character is back in the hands of the people you’d trust, unfortunately it doesn’t look like the Man Without Fear will be returning to the screen anytime soon.

But you never know – they might ramp up production and try to slip him in to the upcoming film line up soon once word hits that he’s now under their control and the resultant demand is high. With the way Marvel are meticulously planning their roster of films it seems unlikely, but we’ll have to wait and see, and if any character deserves a reboot, it’s Daredevil.
