Who is Reverse Flash? Is he the only one in the show?

January 12, 2015 by admin

Warning – potential spoilers below…

As The Flash went into its mid-season break, the show revealed that STAR Labs’ wheelchair bound mystery Harrison Wells was indeed the man in the yellow suit. But is he the only one?

Producer Andrew Kriesberg added fuel to the fire at the Television Critics Association over the weekend when talking about Detective Eddie Thawne, “His name is not an accident. Eddie’s connection to the Reverse Flash lore is going to pay off big time in the back half of the year.”

In the comic books, one of the men to take on the moniker of Reverse Flash was Eobard Thawne, aka Professor Zoom. So does this mean there is some connection between the two characters?

Well, not according to The Flash star Tom Cavanagh, who plays Harrison Wells, “There is just one Reverse Flash,” he told Entertainment Weekly.

Whatever the truth, we’ll know more when episode 17 of The Flash airs, which will reveal details of the night Barry Allen’s mother died. “We’re going to see what happened that night from the Reverse Flash’s point of view,” Kreisberg teased. “I didn’t say it was from Wells’ point of view, I said it was from the Reverse Flash’s point of view.”

So what do you think? Are there two Reverse Flash?

Thanks to CBM for the heads up.
